CharACTers is proud to announce auditions for
Titanic the Musical
Dates, Times, and Location:
February 27 and 28 at 6:00 p.m.
All auditions will be held at CAFA/Arrow Graphics on Hwy 77 next to the “Big Twisted Rainbow” in Rainbow City.
Things to prepare:
Those wishing to audition need to prepare to sing a song that is a similar style to the show. Auditionees may have a CD (instrumental only) to sing along with. Singing a song a capella is also allowed. Auditionees are encouraged to choose a song that truly shows off their vocal capabilities. It is also highly encouraged that auditionees are prepared to act out their song as they are singing it.
Needed are 30-40 teenagers and adults both male and female and 15 children. The show features many solo and speaking roles.
Director Cody Carlton and musical director Angie Campbell are very excited to bring this historic production to life on the local stage.
Performances will be held at Wallace Hall April 13-22 during the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the RMS Titanic.

Titanic is based on the true story of the great ship's maiden voyage from departure in Southampton, England to the sinking in the Atlantic by an iceberg. The show touches on issues such as class, immigration and mankind's vulnerability in the face of nature. The story follows passengers and crew members who actually existed and were aboard the Titanic back in 1912.
