What are we looking for? Peter Pan is a show performed by teenagers and adults for audience members of all ages. There is only one young child’s role in the show, Michael that will be played by a young boy. All other performers will need to be able to look at least 13 years old. Most major roles in the production will be cast between the ages of 16-60. The roles of the Lost Boys, Indians, and some Pirates can be played by either men or women.
Things to prepare: Those wishing to audition need to prepare to sing a song that is a similar style to the show. Auditionees may have a CD (instrumental only) to sing along with. Singing a song a capella is also allowed. Auditionees are encouraged to choose a song that truly shows off their vocal capabilities. It is also highly encouraged that auditionees are prepared to act out their song as they are singing it.
Director Cody Carlton is looking for an energetic triple threat cast who can sing, dance, and act.
Performances will be held June 21 – July 1 at Wallace Hall Fine Arts Center.
