A letter from the President...


Join CharACTers, Inc. in Spreading the Magic that is Theatre!

CharACTers, Inc. is a non-profit corporation created to provide opportunity and education to the youth and adults of our community through quality theatrical productions in Northeast Alabama. 

We are currently gearing up to start our 2012 season.  Your help is needed in acquiring much-needed equipment and furnishings such as lighting, costumes, sound equipment, the construction of the set, and other items necessary for a live production.  The cost of this project is too great for one organization; therefore, we will be able to accomplish this goal through partnerships.

As you may be aware, theatre can be beneficial for the youth of our community and their families in many ways: by developing their self confidence and imaginations, teaching them the techniques of drama and dance, motivating them to learn about their community and become more involved citizens. 

We have worked with organizations, such as Big Brothers/Big Sisters, many times to provide their patrons with such opportunities.  Through your contribution to CharACTers, Inc., you are also able to invest in our children’s futures.

CharACTers, Inc. offers advertising and promotional opportunities, which are positive public relations for your company in our community.  We offer varying levels of sponsorship, which we would be glad to discuss with you at your convenience.

Sponsorship Wall:

Wall will be displayed inside the theatre for a single run of a show.  Names and/or logos will be displayed on one of three sections depending on level of sponsorship.  Names and/or logos sizes will go from small to large depending on level of sponsorship.

Program Advertisement

Dear Supporter:

Before a performance begins at CharACTers, most audience members are looking at their playbills. And unless they go to the lobby during intermission, they are looking at them again! If your business is interested in reasonably priced advertising that makes an impact on readers, please consider advertising in our playbills.

Season ads will appear in all 7 of our season’s programs. They will be handed out during ALL public performances reaching a captive audience. And don’t forget about pass along readership once the programs leave our theatre!

Individual ad space is available to businesses who would like to advertise only for certain shows. Remaining shows in our 2012 Season include The Music Man, Peter Pan, and Annie.  Our 2013 Season will be announced in June 2012.

Submissions for Season Rates for the 2013 Season must be submitted by February 1st, 2013.  All advertisements are black and white unless noted.

Playbill advertising lets your customers know you are a supporter of the local arts and that your business helps to keep CharACTers ticket prices affordable.

* All ads must be “camera ready” or an additional charge of $75 per ad will be assessed. We do accept ads used in other publications. Contact your representative for the ad.

* Artwork must be a minimum of 300 dpi and be in .pdf, .eps, or .tif format. Please include postscript fonts, images and a proof of the ad.

*If you have rotating ads for the season, please have all ads in by the next deadline.

Deadline for the 2013 Season Rate is February 1st, 2013. 

ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE

Tickets will be mailed to patrons in January 2012. 
Season ticket holders will be notified of any changes, specials, or extra events through emails or phone calls.
