SPECIFIC CHARACTER AUDITIONS FOR PETER PAN AND TIGER LILLY
There will be two rounds of auditions for Peter Pan.
The first round of auditions will be held on August 2nd and will only be for auditionees who are interested in playing either Peter Pan or Tiger Lilly. Times for these auditions will be assigned individually between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Please see the specific requirements for these parts below.
Peter Pan:
Requirements – Performer must weight under 120 lbs., be unafraid of heights, and have dance and some gymnastic abilities. This role is traditionally played by a female. Age range from 16-30 but must be able to look young.
Audition preparations for the role of Peter Pan:
Those wishing to audition need to prepare to sing a song that is a similar style to the show. Auditionees may have a CD (instrumental only) to sing along with. Singing a song a capella is also allowed. Auditionees are encouraged to choose a song that truly shows off their vocal capabilities. It is also highly encouraged that auditionees are prepared to act out their song as they are singing it.
Auditionees must also prepare a 30-60 second dance routine that shows off both there dance and gymnastic capabilities to the musical number "Ugg-a-Wugg" (one version of this song can be found online at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_cUqROFVkE.)
Auditionees will also be required to memorize a preselected monologue. To receive the monologue and to schedule a time slot, email the director, Cody Carlton, at [email protected]

Singing a song a capella is also allowed. Auditionees are encouraged to choose a song that truly shows off their vocal capabilities. Auditionees who attend the August 2nd audition who would like to be considered for other roles are also encouraged to attend one of these auditions scheduled on August 6 and 7.
